Pansy is a symbol of a loved one, memories, loving thoughts, and souvenirs. The pansy comes from Heartsease or Johnny Jump Up. Pansies are edible and can also be used as a dye. The pansy flower resembles a human face, nodding in deep thought. Due to the trefoil shape, the pansy also represents the Holy Trinity. The pansy was favorite of Queen Elizabeth I.
